Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for nomination to the Rockland County Track & Field Hall of
Fame, athlete candidates must meet the following criteria:
1. Must have competed for a Rockland County high school.
2. Must have graduated high school 10 years prior to the current election year.
3. Must have competed in spring (outdoor) track & field and/or winter (indoor) track & field. Cross country accomplishments will also be considered.
4. Must be a person of integrity and good character.
5. Candidates in the Veterans category must have graduated by 1960.
Other Guidelines
Primary emphasis is given to the candidate’s high school career. Post-high school career is given secondary consideration.
Coaches, Officials and Contributors are eligible for consideration. Contributor is defined as an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the sport of track & field in Rockland County.
Coaches, Officials and Contributors may be active or retired.
Relays, track & field teams, and cross country squads are eligible for consideration.
